I've bought many crashed cars off of insurance auctions and I can tell you that its not worth near that. That would likely go at around 800 (IF they can even sell it) around here. My last truck was an 07 ranger stripper that went off into a ditch and it only costed about 1700 (including repairs). Could never get the frame perfectly striaght on it, but it was a hell of a truck, sadly rust ate it and now i got a taco, which is the only vehicle ive ever purchased not from an insurance auction

Edit: I noticed why its so overpriced: it has a clean title. How that has a clean title... nobody will ever know

I kinda hope someone from TW buys this, would be cool to see someone mod it out :)

Well to be fair it is his grandparents. They were getting to a point where it wasn't safe for them to drive. While I hate how neglected the truck was I feel bad at the same time.

It's on the way to being much more well cared for. At the shop today. Should get it back soon .

Sorry to hear about the doggo also. My little girl is my best friend, and like most pet owners I dread the day her time comes. But hopefully not for many, many years.

Maybe I missed it but I am genuinely curious...

How did the inside get that disgusting? It looks they left the windows open 24/7 and basically used it as a trash can.

The story as I understand it is that this lady was a bit of a hording junky. Bought a lot of stuff and never used it. It would decay and she would go buy more things. She did it with everything, but this truck was her DD from 2009 to 2017. The roof gasket came off during a very aggressive automatic carwash and she never replaced it. Windows were up, food trash was left inside to rot, groceries and ect. Pests made their way into the car, but luckily none of the rodent variety chewed on any wires. Mold, mildew, trash, a bit of kitty litter in the back, combined with rotting vegetables made it bad, but once all that was removed, I used a number of antimicrobial and antibacterial air treatments and sprays. I will remove the carpet and seats and replace with new carpet and fresher used seats. It's a sad story that it was left just because of what seems to be a bad radiator, but they viewed it as something in the way, I view it as THE way... the way to get an awesome truck.

Y'all will probably hate me for this but I'm sticking with stock size as I got the tires for a steal, local dealer had a buy 3 get 1 free deal for $389.99 I figured I'm gonna sell this so I don't need to go crazy with tires since I'm just gonna turn around and get rid of it. Someone will find it attractive and it will for sure have a ton more traction than the slicks that are on there now.

Gonna repaint the wheels to match the gunmetal trim on the front grill and rear bumper and it should look pretty sharp.
