Honda Ridgeline's built in cooler (with drain plug) is pretty slick. That's something I really wish I had. Assuming it's well insulated. I don't know how good they are in real life, but I love the concept.

Hey now, the only way I ever browse TW is from the back of my tailgate.

That is also where the spare tire is, good luck getting at it if you have a load in the bed.

And you can open the tailgate two ways. We used to throw 5 back packs in that cooler when my buddies in college had to travel.

Ridgelines are nifty, but are more of a nice heavy duty passenger car with a bed. Interesting why they don't sell more since that is what most truck owners use their trucks for.

Or maybe an electronic lift step when you're older yet and need to reach the jumbo size package of Depends.

For me an fully adjustable electric drivers seat would make the Tacoma perfect.

I have a 2017 Z71 4x4 now for a work truck and the auto 4x4 makes me wonder what the longevity of the front driveline is like when its "Automatic".
It often engages while taking off from wherever I'm stopped on site and I have the wheels at full lock- yet the number 1 rule for 4x4 is keep the wheels straight when engaging and dont turn on unless its wet or snowy etc?? And often it engages just because the rear wheels have slipped but the front is on dry dirt or pavement...
Maybe someone familiar with GMs or Dodges can enlighten me if it's a different transfer case or axle system ?

True that... just have to add a second gen jab when I can, before the "turd" gen crew rolls in.

I'm not saying it can't be bent. But they've definitely bolstered it up from the 2nd gen.

Did you sell those bump stops yet? Still in CA?

    Meh.

Probably adds $3000 to the purchase price.

I step on my tire and swing my other leg over the bed side. No need for a gimmick.

Anyone else feel like the interior on the new Silverado/Sierra is bad? Specifically that hideous bulbous dash.

The center stack looks like it is being squeezed out of the dash’s sphincter.
