Have not heard any negative comments or reviews, but they are being used for some heavy offroad use.

Are you asking mostly about the shock towers?

I'm more than happy with my set up. got to do some higher speed stuff a few weekends ago on the BLM side of Joshua Tree. The ride was very smooth, soaked everything up and still felt planted even around corners. Only terrain I've yet to hit are whoops...hoping to make it out to Ocotillo soon. :fingerscrossed:

All the uptravel, it's not diminished at all, except pack is about 1" thicker than stock pack. Expect up to 8" of bump travel out back. You don't have to run air bumps either, you can use foam Super bumps. It's good for whoever wants a great ride, a SOA spring that can pull prerunner duty and good travel. These and HH beat the +2 front kits stuck at 11.5" travel

I'm trying to decide how far I want to take the truck but the HHs and relocate will be on the truck whether I decide to do ext travel or +2.

Reading from Accutune's extremely useful article, You want 6" of up travel if you want to do any kind offroading at speed and you want the rear to be 25% more capable ideally to account for height changes from accelerating and decelerating. So if the pack pulls 14" of travel with 8" of bump that would make it about a perfect match for a +2 while still being SOA so you could use it in a more normal truck capacity. That's pretty appealing.

That 8" is top of pack to frame though right? I assume you would go negative before that? If a stock truck as 3" of up travel and this pack provides a 4" lift that would be 7" -1" for the thicker pack and then plus 2" if you took away the bump and the pedestal?

And the 4" lift is on a 2nd gen right? (with HHs and the 4.5" shackles)

Posting this here in case anyone else is having this thought.

You're really helpful archive thank you.

2nd/3rd gen are exactly same height in the rear, I've measured numerous trucks, even a 2019 pro might only be 1/4" higher in rear.

8" bump travel takes into account a ubolt flip plate and Super bumps being compressed to 1" height.

Measuring from top of the axle tube to bottom of frame rails is around 12.5"-13" (stock about 8.5") with stock weight DC. So 12.5" - 3" pack thickness - .75" perch - .5" ubolt plate - 1" thick compressed bump = 7.25"

    1 more question, sorry.

If the 2nd and 3rd gens are the same height in the rear the dual sport is going to be too tall unfortunately. Looks like the U402 stage 1 at 3" would be a better fit. Do you know if the 402 cycles 12" like the 1" lift packs or do you get more? Does this then put you in 14" shock territory or would the angle of the relocation kit mean a 12" could use it all?

U402 will do 12" travel and I'd recommend 12" shocks

After going back and forth between different mounts, I finally just put my order in. Now the wait.

Thanks, they look good. Hey the hose should be rotated 180deg so the elbow is above the resi like the last pic in post #1. This allows the best position on the frame rails

sweet. Thanks for the heads up. I probably would not have caught that until it was time to start welding things up. Any other tips to getting these installed? I guess one of the nice things about the current lead time is it will give me some time to practice some welding. Lol
