She was full tilt for over 8 yrs started getting cancer tumors and really slowed down past weeks now barely eating and drinking. Won’t be long at that rate. I think wife taking her in tomorrow.

 

Sorry to hear Kevin! i struggle when pets get like that.Ive got a huge softspot for pets,they give us alot of love, hope she is comfortable

I swore id not get another one after putting Masher down but when i retire and you have a litter of those small ones im hitting you up to get on the list.

 

I’ll not be without a dog
It’s hard when they go but enjoy all of them

 

I've got a couple knuckleheaded pits I'll give you. Last year all 3 got into a big brawl with 1 clear loser. Now, almost 11 months later, 2 of the 3 got into it again today. Nowhere the damage and stitches as last year, but still have a few cuts and punctures to keep an eye on...and now they are laying together on the couch.

 

we had a Pit/Black Lab mix that my son took when he got married,the most gentle loving dog ive seen, but he will go sit infront of DIL and grandbaby if people get loud or someone is there he doesnt know in a protect mode!he was a shelter dog and has made a great family addition

These 3 are true nanny dogs. They love kids, follow my wife, great protectors and generally really good. Last time there was some outside agitation, this time I'm pretty sure it was a pecking order check.

 

My Cat Rascal will be 10yrs old in May and she's acts like she's a kitten all of the time

One thing I'm worried about Rascal is Gizmo is bullying her more lately . I think Gizmo is the Alpha and sometimes will chase her in a aggressive manner

 

I feel for ya. Lost 2 dogs in 2 weeks just a while back.

 

Up all night (so far) Major leg pain. Parkinsons sucks.
