Whenever I’m bored at work and watch YouTube videos of public freakouts and people get touched and yell “THATS ASSAULT.” it makes me cringe. You got touched. You didn’t get assaulted.

Edit: “you” as in the people in the video I’m watching.

Nah Assualt is unwanted contact and is more considered battery and you have every right to defend yourself.

 

Maybe the legal definition. If someone simply touches you and you beat them into a pulp, I highly doubt the law will be on your side.

 

Yeah I was in no mood to deal with some bullshit. normally I would have most likely done something more when someone put there hands on me.

 

This was a little more than a touch more like a stiff arm push to the chest.....

As long as you defend yourself with reasonable force you will be okay. I will gladly enforce my right to defend myself from harm anytime when needed.

 

Here’s some reading for you the Sate of VA did this....unfortunately if they pass a law banning possession its law.....

§ 18.2-308.8. Importation, sale, possession or transfer of Striker 12's prohibited; penalty.
It shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, possess or transfer the following firearms: the Striker 12, commonly called a "streetsweeper," or any semi-automatic folding stock shotgun of like kind with a spring tension drum magazine capable of holding twelve shotgun shells. A violation of this section shall be punishable as a Class 6 felony.

 

On a lighter note I just became a field staff for MDE for those that don’t know it’s a family based hunting show

Had a great trip on the river, lots of drinks and fire stories.
1 accident with an axe, which made for a long self rescue litter carry up the hill out to a road.
12 staples later the guy is going to have a big scar on his right calf.

I have the pic he sent from the hospital if you're interested.

And luckily it was my axe soitwas razor sharp and made a very clean slice, instead of tearing and severe soft tissue damage.

 

Ouch that sucks. But good training and good he had people who knew what they were doing around.

Lmao ...speaking of axes just got a new fiskars X27 because my wife keeps stealing my X25 from my truck and never puts it back. Plus i needed A bigger axe anyways for the woods.

 

Yeah it will be interesting to see how many people are in or out and disgruntled hahahaha.

 

I cant Stand people at the mall as well as touchy mall cops. I would have jumped on his Paul blart 2 wheel cart and sped off on a high speed chase through the mall with lights on calling for backup and then ditched it down an escalator.

 

I read that tsa workers and tower controllers are calling out more frequently. I was reading and thinking to myself no shit sherlock. You force someone to work without getting paid, might as well not work and not get paid. This is a fucking joke. The finger pointers need to be the ones losing their paychecks, not me. I actually do my job. Sometimes.

 

LOL the dulles town center mall cops dont have any of those segway things. At least not that I've ever seen.
