Do you mean the headlight base that the bulb connects to? If so, the bulb bases themselves are the same side to side.
Same here except I took the entire week of Christmas off, plus the 31st and had New Years Day off as a holiday. Last week was a rough 3 days, this week is going to be a rude awakening!
If you need help with wiring, let me know. I wouldn't use the trailer wiring harness as a permanent solution. The cap should have quick connections on it anyways. When I wired my last 2 caps, I went to the driver's side tail light, tapped the brake line for the 3rd brake light and the running light for the little LED light in the headliner of the cap. I used a 4-pin trailer connection between the truck and cap so the cap could be easily disconnected if need be.

awesome ill most likely message you for questions. its got some cut wires hanging down so it shouldnt be too bad to splice them and run it to (maybe a marine connection?) at the drivers taillight.

On my Tacoma, I drilled a small hole in the bed and used a rubber grommet so the wires wouldn't rub and eventually short out. For the actual connection, I always solder, heat shrink then wrap in electrical tape if it will be exposed to water and salt. I seem to recall there being a bolt behind the tail light that I used for a ground also but that's a ways back and my memory isn't that great (that was 2 trucks ago).

Man things are great! I keep finding new bars and restaurants, and everything is cheap!

Christ I don't miss that. We've gotten like a dusting of snow once this winter, and the lowest I've seen it here is like 35.

I've got waterproof disconnects in the bed for both the three brake light and my bed lights. If I ever need to pull the cap off its quick and easy

Id much rather deal with the cold than the heat of summer down there. You cant escape the heat as easily as the cold!

When you put a bulb in , the wire clip you need to swing over to clip in and keeps it secure .Driver sid is out of wack.
Trying to wake up now. Gonna check out to see what’s is different from good one and the lousy one.

I believe they are the same side to side. I seem to recall swapping mine around on my '07 when I had the headlights completely torn down.

Ok Toyota doesn’t sell those separate. Whole assembly needs to be purchased to get one. And they fit on either side.
So when my light comes in I will have two.
Still gonna try to figure out WTF deal is with it. About 20* outside I gotta get warm
