You guys have any suggestions on where to mount it? I get the 1/2 inch away from the roofline and mirror post, but I have those little black dots behind my rearview mirror...

 

The black dots won't interfere with anything. What I do in all my vehicles is plastidip the ezpass black (velcro and all), sit in the drivers seat, and hide it out of my sight behind the rear view mirror.

 

Directly to the right of those? I hate those little dots, I wish my dashcam would adhere to that area.

 

Haha no it was raining. That's road spray on my windshield. I only had water

Mine does. But it's not suction cup, it's stick on with clear adhesive.

 

OOOOH the derp is a good idea! I put mine in the same spot. It sticks to the dots.

 

Really cleans up the look of it from the outside of the truck. Can hardly see it, as opposed to a gross white thing

 

This is why TW is so dangerous.....I never even noticed it until now...but now it'll be the first thing I see every time I look at my truck.

 

At least this fix is cheap!

I used to have it mounted there with the adhesive piece, but that's before I hardwired it and a passenger tripped on the cord and broke the entire mount.

 

Cant really help you there. Mine is behind my mirror to the right of the riser.

I know that if you get the flex and don't use it an x amount of times/month they charge you a fee so unless you plan on using it frequently go with the normal...
