Well, I had one made out of abs on my 82 pickup. It was ugly as Satan’s sphincter but it wasn’t an arb.

    Mine is tuned as well.
I tuned it for air to go in the top, and come out the bottom.

Ya, it's been running great. Few pages back are installed pics. But here's the latest
    [IMG]

Been through mud, rain, snow, etc. I'm more at ease knowing the intake hole in the fenderwell is protected against stuff getting flung up from the tire.
I dropped in a TRD filter at the time of install. Just checked it the other day for cleaning and it was suprisingly clean inside the air box. Few little leaves and debris. But under the filter itself.

Overall I think it turned out fantastic. My only grip is it kinda blocks the last roof bar light. But only a little. I'll take that VS the hairdryer sticking out the top of a Turd PRO.

I like how you did the lights across the top. They look sharp.

I've been searching for months for that snorkle head and can't find anyone selling them. Any idea where I can find one?

This is the kit I used(although I got it for cheaper but that add seems to be gone now). I chopped off the head from the body and grafted it onto the prado snorkel.

Do you think the gapping could be closer to the A-pilar? Or were there restrictions?

Sup Meso? Freaking awesome as one would expect. Just curious, have you been through a car wash yet? Here we have the touchless type but I'm wondering how any snorkel would hold up to the high pressure water, or even low pressure soap. I suppose a cover of sorts would work. I only need it in the winter when it's impossible to wash the salt off at home.

Hopefully when you start selling these you'll keep us little guys in mind. I'd buy one.

My a Pillar gap is about 1/2-3/4”. Not bad. I guess if you move the entire snorkel rearward it would minimize the gap.
    whatss uppppp
Been through multiple car washes, storms, and eve pressure washed the heck out of it. Still going strong:)

Hope you and the entire family had a wonderful Christmas and will have an even better New Years Brudda! :proposetoast:

Ours was quiet, and peaceful. Just how we like it. Not sure yet what's in store for NYE. Likely just chill.

So that's great you're not having any intrusion issues! As I said, when the temps are below freezing here I'm forced to go to the car wash. Not having to worry about that is key! :headbang:

If you ever decide to add this to the offerings of Meso Enterprises count me freakin' in then!
    :spending:

I'm going to need a template though. And a couple valium!

Oh, and as far as the naysayers go, I wonder if they are descendants of the Wright Bros skeptics. :D

In the meantime I'll just keep stalking your threads. :spy:

Oh, btw, after over a year, not a single issue with any of the Meso products I have. I know there was never a question but just wanted to say so

This kind of turned into a mesojdm thread on his build, but have there been any new snorkel alternatives?

I believe Sloop Imports has a stainless steel $750 option if you got that kinda cash.
