Snorkel.jpg Well,I was busy over the holidays! Added a snorkel, thanks for finding these @bassman! Very nice and has lowered my intake air temp ~20-30°F so far!

Also added a Champion radiator. The bottom hose is shorter than the old one but same diameter. A Gates 20776 fits perfectly!

What wire should i tap my fog light in relay to turn them on with the headlights. I have retro fitted headlights so that power source wont work. I was thinking about using the side marker light hot wire.

Anyone here replaced sending unit recently? Better to drop the tank or lift the bed? So sick of my fucking gas gauge not reading correctly.

Lifting the bed is easier in my opinion as long as you have a couple suckers (friends) to help

The bed really isn't that heavy. Not even that bad to take off solo. I've done it and I'm a grandpa.

Having done both, I would say dropping the tank is easier.

Depends on how much fuel is in there, or conversely, how much stuff is in/on your bed you have to remove first.

May have to look into this, for added piece of mind. Tailgate down, dirt bike in back it comes pretty close. Thanks for the clue.

Now, if I could remember who borrowed my porta power!

those eBay Safari knockoff snorkels are one of the best finds I think I've seen here on TW, for the money. Better grab one now if you can, seems like they intend to increase the price a bit every time it goes out of stock.

They ship super fast too, everyone I know of on here including myself got ours shipped from overseas in less than a week

It was easy. Took the bolts loose. Used a jack to lift the bed slightly on one corner. Worked my way around the bed. Used three big washers stacked, under each of the bolt down points. There is now enough room for me to get a finger between the bumper and tailgate.

After purchasing a real one, I don't even want to know what the ebay version costs.

Got my front windows tinted today, been wanting to do it since I bought the truck over 4 years ago. Got 35% on the fronts and ended up getting 45% on the windshield. D4DA5860-495C-4F72-9F7B-086C797ECD6D.jpg

How is it with 45% on the windshield at night? I’ve been wanting to get something out on mine to try and help with glare.

Not bad, not a lot of driving time yet but driving home tonight in town and county back roads and I was having any trouble seeing clearly. People running LEDs and HIDs blind me and hurt my eyes and I did notice oncoming lights weren’t nearly as harsh
