Yep. But, it pays, so I keep dealing with it.... for now.
But, I have been seriously looking at a professional change.
Only consolation for me is, when I go back home, I will leave this little niche behind me, chalk it up as experience, and stick with chemical plants, refineries, etc.

He left it. I guess the state rule is he has to fail it, then he can fix it. But he can't just fix it and pass it--it has to be tested as-is.

Maybe when you go back home this experience will let you manage the guy that does your job now

I had a one piece suit in the heavy thickness,
Minimal clothing over that. Zero degrees and warm as toast. My wife put them in dryer and they never fit right since.
I have a catalog coming soon

I find the tops shrink a little more than the bottom. I wash them on cold and dry them on low. Also only wash them after they have been really sweat in, otherwise they stay pretty good for a while.

I'm actually not certain if I want a 29 or a 27.5. I'm told 29ers are great, though, so I've been leaning in that direction. My current Giant is a 26.

It looked to me like the Giant Talon 29 3 was closer in specs to the Marlin 6 while being at the price point of the Marlin 5, which is why it was so interesting to me.

...and yes, probably a 17.5 on 29s, or for a Giant I guess it would be a 17.3.

It seems like anything in my price range has Tektro brakes. I think I'd be just fine with cable discs, but my price range seems to be where that stops and hydraulic brakes start.

That's a solid price. Too bad I'm not a little closer to actually buying. Looks like all the REI stores are near the coast. I'm about 2 hours from the closest one.

I am all set with that.

In my field, management is fraught with headaches, never ending phone calls, blah blah. My plans are to stay a wrench for a long while. I also do enjoy working with the apprentices that are hungry.

Well, if you aren't sure, stick with what you want. Less you'll be out when you decide to upgrade.

The improvement from my Marlins Hydraulics brakes, to the brakes on my Fuel is incredible.

    Good luck either way.

Used bikes pop up on marketplace quite frequently, and a good deal my be found there.

Depending on where you are, I could probably let you take my marlin for a bit to test it out.

Late to the party, but I failed inspection the year I had the cap on my 2013. I had to source the opposite side of the Leer connector (easily available) and used Posi-Taps into the DS tail light. I never got around to wiring the brake light on my ARE before I sold it off.

I'm hoping to get my truck back tomorrow, and I've got my fingers crossed the final tally for the repair comes out under $1,000. A reverse sensor was cracked, so they replaced that. The woman that bumped me doesn't want to get surcharged and offered to pay any difference above the threshold to keep the total repair under $1,000. I'm trying to help out by not getting a rental and borrowing my Mom's car, but I'm very ready to get my truck back.

    Is it spring yet?
