Did you insert the tubing inside the seal or set it behind it?

Swapped out all 6 spark plugs today (had the day off work) and swapped out the rear diff fluid on Saturday for Lucas Heavy Duty conventional. I noticed the 3 plugs that came out of the driver side were a little lighter than the rest with plug 6 having some sort of deposits. Anyone think this is something to be worried about? Truck has 120k on it.

I tried with irrigation tubing and I can't exactly say it was that but my speaker took a shit and there was a bunch of water in the door.

Some people have reported success with inserting the tubing into the seal. Others say placing it under the seal is better. I chose under it for the ease of it. I also felt like 1/4" was too thick to comfortably fit under it.

I do have 1/4" tubing inside the corners, along with this lube, which came recommended by some folks on a VW forum. Combined they silenced my squeaky corner....a separate issue and not related to the kazoo noise.

How do you guys exit the cab for this install? I am also interested in some of the preferred antenna mount setups, what did you do?

Got my A-pillar Ram ball and dual arm mounted up to test fit the UV-5R. Need to get a lip mount antenna going so my HT antenna doesn't take as much of a bend! Also you can see the CaliRaised front bumper light button mounted below. Got my hidden light bar wired up. once it warms back up I need to reset my switched wires so the switch lights up properly when the truck comes on. For now its fine though.

Mounted a spare phone with Torque to monitor some stuff on the truck with Bluetooth OBDII. A little worried about theft so may change the mounting location. Also might wire up an SPOD or Switch Pro to use with Bluetooth
