Anyone near buffalo, ny area heading down toward Richmond, Virginia. Want to purchase a rear bumper from up there, but unable to make the drive to pickup myself. If needed I could meet up in the northern Virginia area. Just trying to get an idea if this is feasible or not. Thanks

@LocoLocal where are you located? Could I possibly meet you to pick up what you have?

Im in Leesburg, VA. Looks like Street, MD is even further than the rest stop. I actually don’t mind driving the 2 hours to TW Express as others have done for me but based on his route it looks like at one point he will only be an hour or so from me. That being said, if you want to meet me in Woodstock MD or somewhere around there I would be up for that. It would at least keep @pmstoy10 from having to make multiple stops.

Yea, Woodstock is close to 3 hours one way for me. Seems when he is in Washington that is the closest point for you two to meet.

Unless someone near you in Leesburg would be coming near Baltimore City either during the week on on the weekend. If they could run it up here during the week, I work downtown but could leave and meet someone close. I get a 45 min lunch.

Are you in Street MD or somewhere else? Woodstock MD is right near where 125 and 99 instersect. I thought it would be much closer.

Yes, Street, 21154, I thought it said Woodstock was farther away. Maybe I plugged in Woodstock Virginia?????? Says it is only 1 hour away. Near Baltimore City. I could definitely drive to Woodstock this weekend and pick up whatever you have. My bed is empty and I would keep the items in my locked garage until the 26th / 27th.

Ah that makes sense - it probably defaulted to Woodstock VA. Not like that’s a really happening place anyhow…

I don’t know if I could meet this weekend as I need to drive to Richmond to pick the item up. As soon as I hear from the buyer I’ll let you know.

Well, not that you want to come to the city late at night but I work until like 6:30 minimum. We could meet during the week maybe. My wife and I commute together so I have to take that into consideration. Maybe I could head west, meet you then head around the beltway, then north.

I’m not opposed. Just depends on my work schedule as well. Once I get the item I’ll PM you!

Ok Cool! Then we can exchange personal info. I work right near the Hard Rock and it would be easy to meet right out front of my building, or if that doesn't work, over on the west side near 695. It takes me an hour or more from here to get home so that would add like an hour. Especially in rush hour traffic. It's all going out of the city, not in. :frusty:

@Lito241 - price is pay it forward....just like the rest of us using/participating in TWExpress :mudding:

@RobP62 - I have a DCLB. Maybe they'll fit corner to corner, but I'll have my cap on, so if not think they could work on my roof racks?

@LocoLocal - I love Leesburg - worked there about 15 years ago in the 'new' hospital.

@Rexfordian13 - tagging you just because you're somewhat included in this whole thing.

Now I just need to write this all down and we'll figure out meet spots along the way.

Appreciate the consideration on least amount of stops. I'm guessing 'the boss' will give me crap for stopping, but if she complains then maybe she should drive

Well, the box will definitely hang out the back with the tail gate open, but will fit with the cap closed. I am not sure what the dimension of the bed is corner to corner. I could measure mine tonight. Definitely fit on the roof racks but I would suggest out of the box to make it more aerodynamic. Unless you don't care about that. It could probably handle a monsoon. It is a serious box.

That Maryland House rest stop on I-95 is nice, clean, new and has a lot of facilities. It's huge. It's located between the NB and SB lanes so you literally just pull in, and pull out. No interchanges or anything like that. I have used this one in the past.

I can measure mine too :anonymous:

    The truck bed you sickos

And I don't care about aerodynamics/gas mileage... I drive a lifted Taco. Plus I'm putting the 285's back on for the trip, because well, I like them better than my stock size snow's on a trip 'down south'

I'm not picky. I use both.
@Lito241 - figure out payment details with the man and we'll get it up to the NE for ya.
