hmmm cot and sleeping pad eh, time to do some looking

 

Yea, back when I was hunting I had a cabin tent and had the cot setup. I had a folding leg table in there too. With the right size and amount of storage containers you can make it quite comfortable.

I still want to see if it's possible to sleep in the cab of the truck though. For an over-nighter I think I could do it. We use the garage to enter the house and didn't have our keys on us once night we came home to the power being out. It was hot and stagnant but we slept in the car. That was about 10 years ago though.

 

Hm. I did some led reverse lights that were uber bright. They were pretty ridiculous looking though.

 

I have EBay taillights and there’s no reflector bowl for either the turn signal or reverse light. They look awesome, but it obviously hurts output. I put led turn signals in which fixed that, but for reverse it just isn’t scattered downward enough. Not a big deal though since I added the rigid reverse lights.

what kind of sleeping pads do you use? the self inflating ones?

 

I have a NEMO one that has a pump built in that you press with either your foot or hands. It slides into the back of my NEMO sleeping bag so the bag doesn't slide around on the pad. I like that set up a lot because it keeps me on the pad since I am a ground dweller at the moment.

 

Are they Depo lights or just some cheap knock off ones?

 

I have the rei one that’s self inflating and has padding in it too. It’s COMFY.

No idea, bought them on here. Super happy with them and the actual brake output is bright.

 

Cot are on sale every now and then at Canadian Tire. Got mine there, and love it. Heavy tho, but solid!

I have a thermarest self inflating but always air it more with my breath. It also has a little padding. Don't get fooled by the little thickness, they are as comfy as big air matresses, and stays aired up all night!
