I would cry if ours was cut shorter than the 3 months we get, thats whitetail season though. Our waterfowl season comes in too early and goes out by the time we really get cold weather and ducks here.

Our general whitetail season is as long as out muledeer season there kinda rolled into one, but even the special draw hunts are most of the time 1 to 2 weeks long.

I put in for a couple Air Force base drawn hunts, our regular season is not a drawn hunts.

Archery starts in late September and runs till Muzzeloader starts in early November and runs till rifle starts in late November. Season ends in mid Janurary.

We are allowed 3 does per day, every day of season and 3 bucks for the year.

That equates to about 15 weeks of season. You could legally take over 300 deer per season in the unit I live in if you hunted Archery, muzzeloader and rifle. Because of this, I only bow hunt here now.

Well F%&* Washington haha, Thats awesome I knew the south had better hunting seasons then most of the west but damn that blew my mind! I want to move out there and hunt. Archery usually has better seasons then rifle or muzz season anyways.

Yea we are allowed 2 deer per day, as many does as you want to buy tags for and 3 bucks. We have some special early and late seasons for real over-populated areas.
