You get used to it. I lock the front and wiggle the back so it self-centers and then lock there as well. For really detailed work I will measure on both sides of the blade to keep everything accurate.

Kobalt. Far beneath you, IMO. But just enough for us that only use it a few times a year.

Thought for sure you'd have a Festool or something similar. I looked at the Dewalt too, but wanted built in table with wheels for simple portability/setup. The Dewalt version of my saw was another $200 more IIRC, (which was basically the 745 with folding legs and wheels attached).

I know they don't make one for the North American market but maybe there is one in Europe . I've seen some DIY Systainer tablesaws in Youtube

Wifes painting the walls. We both just settled for meh for now and we got it as best we could. Probably couldve went back over with more mud and sanded till my arms fell off and been fine. But I'm an amatuer and dont feel like taking more days off work to do this again.

    TLDR:
If you need drywall work done, hire someone. I have a newfound respect for those in the trade and a newfound hate for the people before us who decided to use liquid nails to attach the ugly panelling to the drywall.

I cheat and use a long board to sand drywall. I have a 24” board that i use diagonally across seams. Tricks I learned from when I used to do bodywork.

I’ve also decided that liquid nails althoughuseful, or pretty much forever. Like it or not.

A quick update. The main area is all cemented in place. They ran the sprinklers and added good top soil where the grass will go.
Pending is the pillars at the top of the steps, one wall to add flagstone and caps on top of both, then grout and install sod and the plants we bought.

It looks so much larger than before when it was all grass. I will put one way mirror gold tint on those windows.

I asked if they could re-use the plastic edge board along the stacked bricks so the grass wouldn't grow in the gaps. I will fill them with sand or gravel.

Originally I was not going to cover this wall with flagstone and caps but it was obvious when they built it that it had to be done.

Oh well, what's another $1100. At least he will run sprinklers on this side as well now.

Got to love 45 degree door casings, and the gap at the wall will be covered by quarter round

Got the old 6x6 and 6x8 fir post & beam system out and spent most of yesterday afternoon and this morning cutting the beam pockets for our flush beams .

Cutting dusty million year old fir sprinkled with the odd rat raisin over your head all day is definitely over-rated
