I've never had leafs pop before. I've had them squeak and grind, but never pop.

The old hardbody got an Ironman leaf pack and shock lift put in oh and torsion bars. Rode like absolute shit, you needed a kidney belt and the leaf packs were squeaky as hell

They do it when they flex for some reason, with the Dakars it was because I overtightened the bolts that clamp around the leaf pack, loosened those up and it was good. With these Expos I'm still trying to figure it out...it comes and goes usually right after a wheeling trip like yesterday.

Should probably check and make sure I don't have a broken leaf

I'm not taking these fucking leafs off my truck again if I can help it lol. Although by now I could probably do it in record time.

Ubolts, shackle and main eye bolts are torqued to spec, those are always the first things I check and they're always good

I'm weird in that I dont really listen to the radio when driving...if I do its NPR or local news. I listen to a lot of music at work and such but when I'm driving I like to listen to the truck. Which 9 times out of 10 means I'm over analyzing something about it.

Still rocking my stock stereo from 2004...cassette player and all

Nah I check those too after that issue with the Dakars, they're good....but I'll check them again for good measure. Not right now though, I'm 3 beers deep and about to watch game of thrones

After market radio, and empty dash filler piece thing.

Will be filled with a ham radio when the 99 breaks in half.

I’ll buy broken in half 99. Be perfect for an extreme bobbed truck
