Yah sure.. I have this.. That's how I attached the DAI to the Prinsu as the bracket using the OEM bolts. To be continued.. might replace it with a bracket. Working on it..

Ah that was yours I saw on the lot! Its nice in photos but It’s way nicer in person. It’s crazy how different the tones it gives out too when the suns out and when it’s overcast.

Looks good. It definitely does help the looks with the DAI!

It still looks like the set screws and mounting will rip the DAI head off easily under highway speeds or extreme cold conditions.

Yeah I am still not really impressed with the fit and finish. I am honestly not a fan of any of them, Safari, ARB, Dobinsons, or OEM. If I were to buy one it would be ONLY if I planned on legitimately using it cause I am doing something where its necessary.

I am still opting for a non DAI - MT Pro...

This does however show that with a Prinsu Rack the OEM DAI becomes a little less awkward looking (at least as far as "snorkels" go I think it does.)

It seems you need a Prinsu to make the fender slug less hideous.

    No thanks....

One or the other should be able to look good and stand alone as a mod, the DAI doesnt.

Back in 2015 I was on the hunt for my dream car, a 93-98 Toyota Supra. After searching for quite some time, a listing for a 1997 popped up for a great deal. Long story short, I bought a one-way plane ticket and spent a 3-day weekend driving this bad boy home from Kalispell Toyota.

At the time, my salesman mentioned they were the sales leader for Toyota trucks for that region. We kept in touch about the Supra over the years and I asked him about the Pro purely out of curiosity (they sell at sticker compared to the huge markups in my market). Curiosity turned into a deposit and a couple months later I was in my Pro.

    Hey SoCal,
Installed myself. Pretty easy to do. There's a couple installations on YouTube. It's the same as the single exhaust with extra added clamps and a hanger over rear axle and on to other side. It's made for a long bed so you have to cut about 13 1/4 inch on the straight part of the exhaust. Important to watch the video on where you cut it.. or as per the mbrp instructions then connect hangers and clamps provided with exhaust. You can probably use the same gasket on your truck if it's is fairly new. Or just change it.

As far as HP.. there's a little acceleration there IMO...

As far as sound goes, nice soft growl during cruising then it roars during acceleration. Love the sound.. drone is there but still can hold a conversation in cabin and not louder than your music at 20% IMO.. I think the dual is a little louder because I can hear it on both sides. Haha
    Good luck and enjoy!

I used these. 2x Noico 80 mil sound deadening mat, 1x 50 mil kilmat and 2x 170mill Noico. You can do away with one of 50 mil or 80 mil. But since I had it all open. Better more than sorry.. haha

I’ve always wanted to do this but always dreaded removing everything. Is it worth it?

It depends what your doing it for. I don't know what truck and year you're doing it for.. but for me... my reason.. no reason just gotta do it!! No really... I installed a dual exhaust MBPRP and would like to minimize the drone sound on highway speed. Also to have that Theatre like Dolby Atmos surround sound. Better listening and sound on music. Bass, Mids, tweets hits tighter and harder. That's why hard.. haha

And also cuts the outside noise and drone by 65-77% " IMO" (No comments please lol)... I still find areas that noise passes through like Cab vents behind.. the cab, which another TW member and I are working on deadening that area etc.

I Researched what I wanted , went on YouTube, TW of course, Amazon, Google etc.
Here's one that I watched over and over.. lol

    https://youtu.be/c37zgaUQsVo

Others had sketches, cutouts and measurements on mat placings..

It was a pretty easy project but time consuming. Gotta take your time. Learn from mistakes, for example, I was tired and was on my last installment attaching the back seat in the cab and this happened..I stripped a thread!! But good old YouTube and a 10m tap I was able re- thread that area and saved a half of the back seat and $$$!!

Overall I'm happy I did it. Dunno who I can trust with my truck yet to do it for me.
She's only 3 weeks old!! I had a weekend to spare and a garage to hunker down. Took my time.

    Good luck and enjoy brah!!
