Anyone have an extra workbench, or know of a place to get a good workbench? New or secondhand.

All I am looking for is a simple solid wood top and some metal legs, sturdy enough to bolt a vise to.

You have welder? Weld the shit out of it.

Otherwise draw it out and instead of metal use 4x4s for the legs. With 2x4s to box in the top and a shelf below it, it will be meaty enough for The Rock to use a vise on it.

I’d go the 2x4 route. Very cost effective.

You could make a little more building him a wrap around step for it? Step Side Work Benches! You could start a new business.

I am 6 foot 2 and some change...

Alright so what about the top of the table? I’d like to have some nice hard wood on there with no gaps or uneven seams...

Double up some ply wood and paint it so you can change it out in a few years...

That thing is pretty stout! A few people I know have reloading presses on them and they hold up pretty good.

If you can find some used butcher block than just make the legs and you are set.

It works pretty good and im fairly tall. The table top portion is like 42 or 44" from ground. Saves the back when working on something for a long time. Also makes a great leaning post for drinking beer/watching people work on stuff or smash their fingers.

The black block thing on the close end in front of the little toolbox is a vice mount.( my vice is made to mount in a trailer hitch on a truck or into its mount on my bench.)...

The mini toolbox is full of drill bits/ things you can put in a drill...taps etc.

The top shelf is stout enough i can put anything i want up there. The back is nice so things don't fall, and if im cleaning something grimey its not getting all over the drywall or grinding bits too. the lights at a 45 light up the bench AND the garage a bit. I like having the bottom shelf only half way across on bottom so i can store things like a trash can/ that little dirtbike im gathering parts to build a motor for. Or shop stools. Remember i still fit a 3/4 ton truck and the tacoma in this garage with room to walk around..

The mid level shelf towards the back sticks out like 8 inches and has a sound bar for music, a zip tie container, and i leave my tire chuck and blow gun up there for easy access with the compressor.

That picture is a bit of a mess because i have everything crammed together because i was cleaning the floors.
