    ^Just think you could be addicted to a more expensive habit, like shooting guns or riding horses. :devil:
    Aren't you running 5100s now? Did they reach "end of life" already?

    I bought a $8 tube of synthetic grease from CdnTire today to grease my u joints because they are dry. I loaded it up in the grease gun but it is broken unfortunately. Any advice? Do I need to grease using the nipples or can I use a stick to whipe grease into the U joint. I know it sounds like a stupid question, I lost my job in December so I’m not keen on buying tools right now. I appreciate the advice boys

    You'll need a grease gun. The grease needs to go inside the u-joint to lubricate the needle bearings.

    If you don’t grease into the zerks there isn’t really that much valuable lubrication happening. It needs to go through the passage to fully lubricate. You can try to grease directly but it won’t really be as effective.

    Maybe see if you can borrow a grease gun from a friend or someone on Facebook? Buy a used one? I know it’s not ideal for your situation.

    Is it a manual grease gun. Can you fix it?

    Just transferred all of the Kawartha Highlands trails into Gaia. Big ol pain in the ass to manually go through all the waypoints and change track colour and everything. Looks pretty though.

    [IMG]

    I have waypoints and tracks organized by colour for difficulty.

    Light green = LV 1
    Dark green = LV 2
    Blue = LV 3
    Black = LV 4
    Gray = Trail access road

    Yes it’s a manual grease gun, I’m not sure if it’s fixable though
