Hey Guys, I'm doing some soul searching here and think I may let the Tacoma go depending on it's real market value. If you feel like you have a good grasp on the 3rd gen market please let me know "what you would pay for it". Any advice, feedback welcome.
I want to see the value if I was to try to sell outright vs. the trade in offers I have yet to get on it.
I'm just looking to downgrade to a less costly used truck. I recently bought a new house and have an 18 month old daughter so a $40K truck just isn't ideal for me when I have other priorities at this time.
    Thanks!
    Mark

    The truck:
2018 Double Cab Long Bed TRD Off-Road
9,000 Miles (and counting, it's my daily driver)
    Cement Exterior
    Technology Package
    Premium Package

Purchased new at Boulder Toyota with just the Tech and Prem packages, below are all the items I've added since I bought the truck, all these were purchased new, many of which are not yet installed:

    -OEM Mud Guards
    -OEM Chrome Exhaust Tip
    -OEM All-Weather Floor Mats
-OEM Bed Extender w/ new OEM Bed Extender Brackets
-OEM 2nd Gen Tacoma Running Boards
    -OEM Black "Tacoma" Badges
    -OEM Black "4x4" badge
    -OEM Door sill protectors
    -OEM Bed Mat
-OEM Cement Drivers Side Door Handle(Makes pass. door keyless)
-Hondo Garage Phone holder (A must-have for all 3rd gen Tacoma’s)

Yeah it sucks and isn't accurate or used by any reputable dealers.
    Thanks!

WTF are you talking about? I've always gotten the KBB price on my trade in.

$35k. Mods don’t really add any value. I doubt you’ll have a problem getting rid of it. Cement seems to be a popular color.

Possibly ebay.com, but only look at the sold listings. Just because someone has an asking price for something, it doesn't mean anyone is going to pay that price. Most of your mods are with factory parts, but don't expect them to add much, if any additional value. The mods that you like may not appeal to other buyers, and thus aren't necessarily going value them as much as you or the dealer.

I'm not sure if any of those add ons will add much value. Be better off selling the bigger ones like running boards, bed mat, extender, etc..

Dealers..atleast around here (Northern Colorado) use NADA and MMR(Manheim Market Report) to value trades and work deals. KBB just flat out isn't used unless a ploy to try to pay you less for a trade etc.
The purpose of the thread was to get some real world ideas what my truck may be worth. I even like to see regionally what differences there may be. I'm open to perhaps delivering it or arranging delivery as I have a good friend who does auto transport.
    Thanks.

if you have all the answers using NADA and MMR why would you ask the question about what your trucks worth on a online truck forum, how would anyone here accurately evaluate its real worth, just guess? https://media.giphy.com/media/IQ4Wi9XSW1eUw/source.gif

sell it in SOCAL if you want to make your monies worth, dealers out there seem to be tight on cement and high on price from what I've briefly read on here. I paid 36k for pretty much that exact truck out here in MA brand new.

Edit: I predict this thread turns into a typical 3rd gen shit-show by the time lunch is over. It's already half way there.:frusty:

Here in San Diego, every vehicle I've traded in was right around what KBB said a dealer trade-in was worth. I don't know what else to tell ya.
