Already ordered the replacement Pro grille. I couldn’t help myself so I also added a TRD shift knob to the cart. The Pro grille is going to be decor to hang on my garage wall.

Can you hear them in the cab with the music off and windows up? When do you notice it?

    Ha - i feel ya.
Nope didnt have to mod threads as its the same pitch, so it spins right on.
Only thing you need to be prepared for is how to handle the boot and make it look finished.
Have heard of some folks using a rubber grommet as well but i really like the look and feel of the piping I used.
Since its the only cement thing in the truck, it really pops.
    Good luck

I am. I'm a little toe out with the tires, but it's not proving to be a problem. I don't think the alignment shop did a great job

Installed the Toytec Boss kit the coilovers and UCA on sunday night and last night the AAL. need an alignment so ill prob do that this week sometime or next. so far rides good. UCA are the worst of it all. trying to get out that long bolt that hold it together but with some bending of the inner fender per instructions, it came out ok. love how the red coils look from inside the fender

Thank you for the response! I’m already planning on sewing up a new boot. It’s too bad that swapping in an FJ’s manual transfer case would be such a pain. The second lever would really add to the look not to mention reliability.

i think im gonna trade my SR5 in for a 2019 TRD Sport. I have a lot of mods on my SR5 and will probably take them off before trading. A few questions i have first though. Im assuming the headlight bulbs are the same as my 2016. I have the retrofit source HID kit and really want to keep it. But does anyone know for sure if the floor mats are the same also? And does the Sport with the premium package have the home link mirror in it? I plan on keeping those if they all fit. I also have a K&N CA and Magna Flow cat back id like to keep as well. Again Im assuming its all the same. If not I guess Ill sell them lol Any way any input would be appreciated. TIA

^^ This is what I would do. If that does not solve it delete personal data from the HU then disconnect battery for 20-30 min.

If that does not resolve it call your dealer for warranty service.

Finally got an afternoon without it pouring rain and wind. Put some Velcro strips on the door card so I could attach some hook and loop organizers. Also attached my Element fire extinguisher this way, so I wouldn't have to drill anything. Both sides we're done with the Velcro, but I'ma let the wife decide what she wants to put on her side.
