    Thanks bro. Believe it or not, sanded down the chrome with sandpaper. Applied 2 coats of clear coat spray paint. 3 coats of inferno red. Did it about 6 months ago and holding strong. Matches the inserts on the tailgate and interior accents. I have a front badge decal ordered from eBay coming tomorrow.

    Pardon the interruption please. I swear I've seen a tubular round style rock rail that fits extremely close to the rocker panel and follows/matches the body contour to each wheel well. Wheel to wheel. No steps. Round and tight fit that follows the factory body contour wheel to wheel.

    I've tried searching and I've come to the conclusion that I might be seeing things at different eye level, depending on photos people upload. If you think you know what I'm talking about..I would greatly appreciate any info and help you might have.

    Not exactly. They are perfectly round/circular and they curve down towards each wheel slightly like the body line..and no body gap. I think I see them all the time, and then at a different angle I see body gap or a bump out at the rear. I think I'm seeing what I want at one angle, then what I don't want at a close up view. Thanks though.
