    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
You could counterbalance it with a new front bumper and winch...

    Some good suggestions here though.

was going to say that and how its resonating thru out the frame and may actually cause damage without proper suspension setup.. sumo springs could help..

doubtful. the space between the top of my spring and my frame is more than a sumo is long as i am lifted about 3" thus no contact will be made to dampen the bounce

More expensive but would rather pay for the right product the first time. I just read through all 27 pages of the BAMF thread and the problems seem to be pretty continuous....

might want to talk to jberry813 about the archive garage hangers. They are a different geometry then stock..

Your just talking problems with dakars with BAMF or what? Thats what i saw too going through that thread, i also pinged Jerry and he said no go with his shackles and dakar springs.

I saw problems with practically all leaf manufacturers and the shackles rubbing the hangers themselves. BAMF makes a good product, and a lot of them at that, but it looks like this one needs a little refinement.

@jberry813 whats your take on the archive garage hangers?

He said that since our dakars are shorter... we should be okay. There is a link to the archive mega thread earlier in this thread.

I may stick with stock shackles and just go with the hangers and their poly bushing. should fix the issue.

    ...too much shit to list.
@JLee redesigned and sent free replacement shackles to everyone if you read through the thread.

Archive moves the pivot down and rearward rather than factory geometry. I’ll let you make your own decision as to if that suits your needs and wheeling style.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

That was the first run of shackles they were all replaced. Our shackles cycle fully with no contact. As for standard eye springs they won't clear the shackles without modification to the long leaf.
