I don't think I could wire it myself and i'm saving for my SAS definitely couldn't afford to pay someone to do it  sounds badass though. Talk about goals. Can't imagine having my Tundy motor in the taco... I break it enough as is

Hey guys, I have a strange request for you all. 4x4_angel hasn't been on since Sunday night and that is pretty unusual for her. Is anyone in here live close to her that would feel comfortable enough to go check on her?

WOW! 20 years is a long time!!! I hope it is still there so you can share the memory with your kids! That would be so cool! I would double check though before you finalize your plans with this gubment shutdown. I hear a lot of things are closed. You can check them out online to be sure. Hopefully it is over by then.....but who knows.

Yea, any large city over here on the coast is proliferated with homeless and some of the pan handlers can be aggressive. The new thing when you tell them you have no cash, is, they ask you to buy them food with your credit card. o_O

Thanks for making me feel old! I was thinking 20 years wasn’t too long ago but I guess it’s all a matter of perspective. I am almost 40 but I still feel like I’m 21! That is until I remember that I have two kids about to graduate from high school in the next 2 years. Either way it was a great memory for me and I hope they enjoy it as well. I hear you about the aggressive panhandlers. I was born and raised in Houston so I’ve been around it most of my life. That is a good idea to check on the status of things with the shutdown though. Hopefully it’s all done by the time we get there.

40?! You're still a young man! I am sure they will love it. The zoo is phenomenal. Or it use to be. I haven't been in such a long time. When I was riding Harley's we would go every year for the Memorial Wall ride.

I am assuming you are referring to the Vietnam Memorial Wall? That was absolutely one of the most memorable parts of our visit when I went the first time. We found some names of my Dad’s friends and did a pencil shade of them. It was amazing. Our soldiers are the true heroes in my book! My kids are 16&17 do you think they would still like the zoo? Any other suggestions of places to go?
