Noticed today the clock was reading all dashes --:--

Turns out it's in a perpetual acquiring time from gps. The unsync from nav option is grayed out. Any ideas on how to unscrew this?

Happens randomly. Drive around for a while and it’ll come back.

I think it’s buried in settings somewhere. I’ve never tried.

The dash clock on my 95 was always wrong too. Toyota tradition.

Dealer thinks that an antenna is unplugged based on the red bar thru GPS on the nav screen. Anyone know how to full reset the system? I checked the back of the deck and it's all plugged in. He says that's why I cant unsync which is the stupidest design flaw I've ever come across.

Full reset or reboot. Reboot is press and hold power button until unit turns off completely and reboots.

I've had to do it once or twice with hang ups with the GPS. It could be just a matter of maybe tomorrow you'll get reception. Lame answer but stranger shit has happened...

    Fixed it.

Apparently there is 3 radio connectors to gps connectors.
    I had #4 connected
#3 fell behind the dash when I was installing my DMM.
