Anyone in NY???

I'm just north of Albany...not exactly sure where you are please forgive my geographical short comings

 

Albany is almost two hours north of me. I go through there on my way to relatives in Washington county.
Went to an old school restaurant in downtown Albany years ago “Jack’s oyster house”. Was great back then.

 

Gotcha not too far and I am in good old Washington county, may see you some day.

Been to Jack's a few yrs ago on Pearl st in downtown Albany. Good place but $$$...

My aunt used to live in Greenwich. I'd spend a decent amount of time there when I went on ski trips with them.

Anyone near Dover Plains? Was looking at some property this past week and saw so many Tacomas in the area. Will be up that way every 2 weeks or so if we close on this property.

 

A land plot or house and all? One of the dispatchers at my job lives in Dover. It’s still nice and quiet out there.

 

House, barn, a few other structures plus about 50 acres. Has tons of trails for ATV's. Our only concern is the new power plant they're building in the area, but based off of research the air in NYC is no better.

 

That sounds fantastic! My wife commutes to midtown everyday so we need to stay close to the Hudson line for her job. We have always talked about snagging up some more property like that though. I would love to have space to actually ride my quad besides using it for work at the tree farm. The power plant was one thing I was going to bring up to you but it sounds like you’re well aware. Good luck with it! I’m a little over a half hour from there but close to Dover in Amenia there is a fantastic restaurant called Seravan that my wife and I enjoy going to.

 

I am about 45 min south of there but was up near Dover (in Pawling) a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned somewhere on TW about a mechanic there who had Tacomas all over the place. Nice country up there. Good luck with the purchase.
