New tires Falken AT3 Wildpeaks

 

I've had to change my starter in my work parking lot once. Took about 20 mins cause you get little turns from the wrenches.

 

I think I just used a wobble and I found out I could pull it from any area I wanted to.

Still a 15min job, just hard to see

 

Again, I could remove from wheel well no problem. 15mins.

 

I’m sure you could remove the starter in 15 min if you knew what to do

 

Taco failed inspection today, shop tried to charge me $1200 to replace the gaskets for my catalytic converters and install a new muffler. all the parts ordered for $95....

 

You haven't, well you aren't much of a performance guy so I suppose that makes sense.

 

The seller of my truck had patched ahead of the cat with some muffler mud stuff. The tailpipe was toast and rusted off the hanger and so the gaskets were done so I gave the go-ahead to redo the whole thing. $900

Maybe could have saved money as you did and let the patch fail later, but I wanted my new truck to be set to go for a while.

 

What is the gain from aftermarket headers?

 

more notable performance gain with headers if you're super/turbocharged but depending on the brand you can see some gains, otherwise it helps the exhaust sound better. Not many good options for us CA residents unless you know ways around smog...though I like the TRD headers if you can find a set (discontinued)

 

I like them too

 

They sound really good IMO, sounded even better when I had the TRD tail pipe with them but that got chopped off when I did my exhaust axle dump

Id love to supercharger....but to much coin for anytime soon. And im not interested in just making my truck sound better lol. Although it does sound like crap with my exhaust cut and nothing else to help.

 

How I did mine. But was not fun.

I'd just do a muffler then. Headers will be very throaty sounding and accents the tenor range a lot.

 

I mean I know what headers will do to the sound but I'm curious to hear more about these musical terms to describe it.
