    Magic erasers are frigin awesome. They're good for tons of shit, including cleaning leather and I personally use it to clean the top of my console and door sides.

    It's nice to know it'll also remove tar!!

    Just don't use it to clean a pan... I had a calphalon pan that ended up with a sticky residue on it from cooking- i used the eraser and it was the only thing to take it off! BUT, now that part of the pan is no longer "non-stick". Otherwise, those things are the BOMB!!!

    Magic eraser has abrasives in it so be careful when cleaning things with luster as it will remove the luster. I personally wouldn't use it on clear coat paint, but that's just me.

    i didnt think of posting before or after pics, I just hope I didn't damage my clear coat. I know I know, bad post. My bad. I just didn't have kerosene, but I had majic erasers. Next time, I will just use kerosene...

    You should be careful with them. It says on the package to not use on vehicles. It does work very well though. I have used them several times to get junk off the truck.
