If you have a camper and carry weight regularly in the rear, go for something like AllPro Expeditions.

This is older than mine! Cerca 1998

Dug thru my logbook and I did a cross country here Aug 12, 1998. Flight time (2 way) was 2.3 hours.

They have the airport (opened in the 1940's) for a few reasons, but it mostly serves to aid in ag research (airborne research, crop dusting type stuff). They also operate an aircraft rental service and flight instruction. Ironically, I came to UCD after stopping my training at my home base. I never was able to get it going again. I do miss flying, but damn it's expensive.

holly shit, that was 20 years ago. More time has passed since then than I was old at the time. I feel old.

I've got a set on mine. The air lift kit. The Firestone kit is nicer but is more expensive.

Very cool! Why did you stop flying?

So what was this book used for, was it carried in the aircraft? Seems like it’s obsolete at this point with electronic plotting.

Dakars are good for a budget lift and smooth ride, but they'll give you ~2.5" unloaded. If you only want an inch or so I'd just do an AAL

Mine Expos ride pretty stiff in the rear with ~250lbs day to day. With another hundred or two they ride real smooth. If you carry less than 250 day to day I'd get the standards

My cruiser is the same way, rear sets on the bumps (comes stock with two stage bumps, one set is like the timbrens and the second is hard like normal bumps). But I don't think it's supposed to sit on them with a full tank of gas and a passenger haha. Dobinsons got me some springs on the way though
