I’m an engineering program dropout and a design and feng shui aficionado. Workflow, seating, and other aspects of the classroom are all continually thought out. I can be anywhere in the room in two or three steps, yet the seating is set up so the students (who are very sensitive these days) can feel safe and have some sort of personal comfort zone.

 

Question for you computer "geeks". Is there a free program I can download, that will play DVDs on my PC?

The program I have now doesn't work anymore for some reason, so wondering if there is some kind of free software out there that I can download and keep using.

 

Yeah, it's weird that computers stopped doing that.

 

Tell me about it. I need to find some kind of free program. Doesn't need to be or do anything fancy... Just play the DVD. Simple as that.

 

Just don’t get one of these as a disciplinary chair. Lol

 

Did a quick Google search, and the one that popped up at the top, for DVD player software, is VLC

Downloading it and giving it a shot.

 

What did you order for the Mrs.?

Good windy morning... At least around here it is.

 

Same here. Last night we had a bit of thunder around 12am or so. Super loud that it woke up the youngest, and she started crying.

 

I can't help with the computer issue but I know a guy
If you get stuck I can make a phone call.

 

Ugh, that's too bad. I don't know if it thundered here. Couldn't fall asleep so I had to pop a Sonata sleeping pill = comatose...

Geez - super windy now. Was going to take the Taco today, but think I'll opt for wide & heavy Tundra. I do prefer a heavy vehicle when the wind goes psycho. Prius is just scary on a day like today.

Reminds me of when I had my first car; 2002 wrangler. Great first car and I loved it, but the short wheelbase and “aerodynamics” made it hell on the highway with any wind; let alone passing an 18 wheeler on a non-windy day.

 

If it’s what I’m thinking of, VLC isn’t quite malware, but it’s close

 

Our Prius seems to cut through wind pretty nicely even crossing the Housatonic
