Found no easy way to mount the ARB compressor in the engine compartment so splurged on this instead.

You don't know the various voice ranges?

    Bass
    Tenor
    Alto
    soprano.

Then you break it down more.

    Contra bass
    Bass
    Baritone
    Tenor
    Alto
    Mezzo soprano
    Soprano

Tenor would be a higher male voice. So in our trucks think accenting the upper ranges of the exhaust note.

I used to be like that. But realize more shit to do and see than wait for a crappy compressor.

You are right. The beer is more of a way to cope. Id prefer it was faster lol A better compressor is on the long list of upgrades.

Well I went off-roading this week and with all the rain we’ve gotten the trail was 10 times muddier than we anticipated. So on the ride home my battery light comes on, long story short I was driving home with no lights except my light bar on just to get home. Good thing I have 2 cars!

Went yesterday to clean it up after work (didn’t drive it) to see if mud was all in the alternator. Didn’t come on and seemed fine. It came back on tonight as I was driving to the store (didn’t drive it today either). It had a harder time starting up today like not enough power. Again I think alternator, none of my tools are here they’re at my friends place so I haven’t actually gotten to “dig” into it.

TLDR: went through mud and I think my alternator shit the bed. How could I test this, without ripping my truck apart?

If it is in fact dead I’m going to go with the Cadillac alternator, so I guess next question can somebody show me the thread for that so I can maybe start getting parts for it.

    TYIA

Edit: also my head lights were flickering on and off as I was driving home

Start the truck. But a multi meter on the battery. Should be reading 14Vs if the Alt is working.

That’s what I thought it was. I’ll swing by my buddies place and snag that and any hand tools to mess with my battery

Luckily I have some extra piping from when my dad and I did his Jeep exhaust so I may just rig a cat-back since I have the parts and my muffler is split. just to get the stickers, cops in my area have nothing better to do than find a young guy with a sticker out of date. The weird part is my emissions passed so for them failing me because of my exhaust seems a little off to me

Anyone recently the fix the 'fuel gauge not reading correctly' problem lately? I replaced my battery and it seemed to help for a few days, then went right back to being innacurate... Would really prefer not to drop the tank...

Sounds like just a bad connection somewhere. Check the battery terminals. Otherwise as stated get a volt meter out.

    Probably true

Still sucked ass, I couldn’t get it out that way.
    How inaccurate is it?

I don’t think our trucks are known for being precise.

I think one of the scan/ultra gauges reads it? But I can’t say that’s a fact.

Only had time to do the pass side. Almost screwed up. Laying on the floor, that 3/4 drive impact is almost too heavy for my scrawny arms. Spun off and rounded one of the bolts.

Anyone have some knowledge on eibach’s shock lifts? I’m torn between getting blistein 5100s or I see this eibach kit, I’m looking for about 2”-2.5” lift but more importantly a comfortable ride

Dont the eibach coils pair with the bilstein shocks?

    Another option is OME.

I was lucky and had leftover paint from painting my truck. But, I have watched my brother-in-law paint his twice in the last two months trying to match his 2002 Ranger factory green and it is still not right. He's buying from auto paint store and with the normal aging of the paint, they are struggling to get him a match.

I'd go black if I were you. It'll look good on your truck.
