Awesome, that’s what I like to hear. Any way you could post some pics from different angles? I’d love to get a gander at the good and get an idea how the truck sits.

    1 month update

I have had little to no settling. 1/8” at most in 1 or 2 corners. The suspension is awesome. Perfect amount of firmness. Tackles washboards well. I wouldn’t call the suspension buttery smooth like some (maybe at lower settings but I wanted max lift), but it does it’s job well. THE best suspension for 90% of people I’d say.

Definitely don’t forget to re torque the top nuts after ~200 miles. I didn’t do much driving after the install and then did a 370 mile drive back to CA for Christmas and at the end of the drive my top bushings had no compression. It was also squeaking really bad in all corners. Took off the top bushings and there was dirt underneath. Cleaned them up and re torqued, no more squeaking!

Looks great! Thank you for taking the time to post these, it’s much appreciated. I think I’m sold on this setup.

No problems man, I’m really enjoying it. Although I do wish I went with slightly larger tires.

I think they look great. Did you install a 1/4 inch spacer on the driver side? If so, was it enough to correct the lean?

jba uca's ordered and should be here Thursday. One thing to note, there is no communication issue with jba as I have gotten a lot of emails from them since I ordered them :)

Now that those have been ordered and other small items, I plan to install next month. Even after reading a lot, I'm still torn on what notch to set the 2nd gen 6112's at for my 3rd gen taco. I read max them out and put it at 5th, but then does that affect ride quality too much. If I do 4th, will I get close to the height I want.

Lastly, I see a lot do 5/6, should I follow same suite and do 4th on passenger and 5th on driver and not use spacers? I do have 1/4" spacers I can use if I do 5/5 to cure the taco lean

Lastly, do I keep or remove sway bar?

First, I wouldn't bother adjust for the taco lean. The suspension is so soft it'll change and adjust itself by you being in the vehicle, or by the fuel tank being full.... there's so many factors that influence it, I wouldn't stress over it... No one measures their ride height with themselves in the vehicle, which is probably much more meaningful and valuable than at-rest with no passengers.

Sway bar? ... Have you driven a vehicle without it? If you haven't, I wouldn't say it's something you should just dive into, it doesn't feel great. I really wouldn't bother with disconnecting it at all if you plan to drive on the highway.

I have a second gen set at 3/4. No need for the spacer.

Setting the perch is the same as a spacer so why add it. Manual of the 3rd gen says to do it, too.

Also, I had my second gen originally on 3/3 and then upped to 3/4 to compensate for the lean. Things got firmer going to 3/4. I am considering dropping to 2/3 to add back some rake and a little softer ride.

What are you using in the rear for lift with the 3/4 setting?

Just checking in on this thread after being away for a while. If you were to measure the lean with a driver in the truck the lean would be worse! Go one higher on dr. side or 1/4 or 3/8" spacer as is recommended by most. I have a 1/4" spacer and the pass side is still 1/4" higher. The SB is a preference I had it off for a year but put it back on because I wasn't going off road as often anymore. The added preload makes up for not having it but yea its not good for emergency maneuvers on the road without it. The new toy is a BMW 335i N54 rear drive anyway. I'm getting her ready for a tune. :D:burnrubber:

    Progressive AAL with overload in.

Sits about 1” higher in the rear but looks fairly level to the eye. Note, I do have a snugtop.
