Howdy! Staff meeting @ 10AM. Plan on being "the asshole". Several new people just don't do their jobs. (Including my boss) Going to point out these issues, assign blame to the guilty parties, and let the chips fall where they may.

Morning! Gonna skip the good part today. Pulled up cabinet bottom and floor underneath is soaked. And pretty smelly. No tree stand today. It wouldn't be a problem if I had carpentry skills, but I don't. You may remember the Andy Griffith episode where he told Aunt Bea to "call the man!" That's what my wife told me. After 27 years, she knows I'm an idiot.

Man has been called. He is 75 and gets around better than my 50yo ass. Could be some tree stand activity in the very near future. Have a great day kiddos.

Had to run into town for more lab tests this morning. Can't believe how much new construction is going on even in this weather. Black Carhartt is the uniform of the day, everywhere. With my job I have it pretty darn good. And am thankful.

One of the problems living in a city nick named Med City is everyone seems to be health conscious. Krispy Kreme has tried 3 times since I've lived here to make a go of it but can't, only last about 6 months and can't stay in business. How in the hell does Krispy Kreme not survive in a town of more than 100K people? Med City. Passed the only bakery in town on the way home and they had a big sign out front that said "Live Wild and Free, eat a doughnut". I damn near pulled in.
