I need a little help.... ive got this terrible "squeeling" sound like what a belt would make but ive replaced the belt already. the sound squeels loudly with higher speeds and comes to a stop as the vehicle stops( sounds like a tea kettle squeeling when water is boiling) break pads and rotors are brand new and I put the truck in neutral and slowly climbed to 2k rpm and nothing....any thoughts?

Do you have any light bars? We tore through a friend of mines jeep for weeks only to find out it was air passing through his light bar. Tore into the gears and everything. To this day I still cannot believe it was the light bar all along.

I had the same thing happen with a helmet. Every time I got up to speed I would get this weird whistle and chirp. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the bike. Until one day when I wore one of my old helmets and the sound was gone. Something had gotten into one of the vents on the top of the helmet.

hahaha all I can do is laugh about it now!

Sounds speed related under acceleration. Can you pinpoint what corner it's coming from? How long ago were the front brakes done? It could be a dust shield bent and rubbing the rotor. Also check the driveshaft carrier bearing. Father in law's went out and he had a squeal for a few days before all the rubber fell out and made a nasty vibration and clatter.

I’m thinking it could be this because my ac compressor was making weird noises a bit ago but haven’t noticed it then this happened...
Na no light bars it def sounds like it’s coming from the front of the truck

I did the breaks and rotors not long ago made sure the dust shields where not contacting any parts. It is coming from the front for sure. It sounds just like a beater car with a shit belt squeal. I’m thinking it’s a bad pulls bearing or something. The thing is it only occurs when driving so I can’t let idle and search for it. If I knew someone with a dyno I could get up on that and have someone drive while I look or something. Idk man it drives me crazy I take good care of my truck and it’s all nice but has this terrible noise that I cannot find :annoyed:

I agree with you 100%!! Did the exact same thing. I ended up using the Duplicolor color match and it looks great. Or at least good enough until my @HomerTaco grill gets made. :D

Installed 6112 in front 4th notch and 5160 with icon aal in rear without overload. Sits level front to back, but 1/2 inch lower front and rear on drivers side than passenger. I get the front, but the back, I never heard of that.
