Question for you local beeches. Is there someplace that takes brake rotors for recycling? Hate putting them out for trash pickup and landfill 'fill' anymore.

 

Don't think they take scrap metal..... Plastic, paper, alum/tin cans

 

Ours takes steel and iron, and Austin's recycling program is notoriously finicky. You should be fine.

Thanks for the suggestions though. Might just check the parts houses and service shops if they have a scrap heap that they don’t mind me contributing to

 

I throw away metal parts and scrap in our recycling container a lot but I think they probably just don't care enough to sort through it and leave anything behind.

 

If you can get someone to grab em tbat will be coming my way for wheeling next weekend, I’ll take em and throw em on my scrap trailer
