    I'm sure there is a cheap tester somewhere that you would manually pump a small amount of air into a chamber with gauge hooked to the boost gauge pressure sensor. Compare readings.

    hmm.. may have to look into this. Wonder if I could rig up some way to test it with my vacuum pump/pump if I had a gauge to put in between the manifold and the pump..

    If your pump is a low capacity so you don't build up crazy pressure too quickly then absolutely it would work. All you are doing is putting a controlled small amount of pressure into the system, then hold pressure and compare the boost gauges to the "control" gauge.

    Gotcha, yeah mines just a little hand pump used for bleeding brakes or a clutch, but it can also pump air, so I think it'd work good.
