Just got back from Fort Belvoir and we noticed the flag was at half mast on the DLA building but we couldn't find anything online about it. Anyone know why they are flying at half mast? My guess was the flag guy was furloughed since President Bush's mourning...

 

Yea it is and they have done a 3rd gen as well! But reading the YT comments, says it would be too heavy to do it on a Double Cab.

Damn you dont even get youtube on your govt computer? I at least have that, but cant watch any videos that require a sign in for age or whatever. If it makes you feel any better the video quality at work is shit.

Turns out we are still at half mast as well. One of my coworkers was the off-going base CDO (duty) this morning and they went to half staff. When he asked why, the protocol office mentioned something about interment...which has already happened I thought? Who knows...Is State part of the partial shutdown? I think they are the office that handles the flag messages.

On one hand I-81 really needs to be 3 lanes each direction for the entire length. On the other hand I don't trust the state to not blow the money on pet project that helps nobody.

 

Oh, those programs just help non tax payers.
