Kitchen, gear, food, on bin each is my normal load, plus a cooler if needed. Not a whole lot of incentive to skip on bringing good gear if you have th bed space.

@Blackout14 where is your antenna mounted? I picked up a mount and 3' firestick. Mine mounts above the passenger taillight. I ran my wire under the bed rail. There's holes every foot and a half or so and I zip tied to that. It's rather ugly though since the wire doesn't stay taught. I may drill extra holes for more zip ties unless someone has a better/different routing for it?

Ohh. I have one of those as well. Until I get my firestick going, I'm using the magnet mount. It's actually a temporary permanent fixture on my backrack headache rack thing. The wire runs into the sliding window. Haven't had any problems with the rains.

True, I just love condensing gear. On my first run Molle panel, I have my splitting axe, hatchet, tow strap, first aid, air pump for tires, and even jumper cables. in the bed I have my hi lift, and my waterport.

Then I have my camp bin (sleeping bags, pillows, down blankets, Lanterns, stakes, hammer, etc

Food Bin: french press, kettle, food, Soap, cooking utensils, cutting board, kitchen wares etc

Besides that: Full size propane, small grill or roadtrip grill depending, pelican cooler, chairs, folding table, collapsible table

I have it now where everything is in 2 organized bins, throw the large stuff on and go camping

Hasn't affected transmit or receive. Rub a bead of clear silicone on the window I doubt you open it. Easy enough to get the silicone off if you do need to use the window

The Allegheny National Forest is very vast, so experiences vary. It is almost all wilderness with the exception of a few of areas that have gas fields. I have only explored about 10,000 acres but i plan on start getting more familiar. I want to eventually do a week long backpack in hunt.

I used to just bring the wire through the back door that i would never use. It never damaged the wire and always had decent reception. Not the cleanest, but it is easy and quick. Works as a good option for something temporary. I would really like to get something a little more permanent so maybe i'll use the grommet method this spring.

I've used simplisafe in all my house flips. It's great, wireless, and can be transferred from house to house for my needs. Easy to use.

Lights were easy. Drill a hole, mount the light, wire them in. I ran/zip tied the wires behind the backrack to hide them. Black rack and black zip ties and you can't even see it. There's a big rubber grommet in the floor right behind the passenger front seat. That's how I entered the cab. Then ran the wires under the door sill trim, up around the glove box and behind the radio, then over to my switches.

We use simplisafe at all our rehab properties until they are occupied. Very simple install - motion, entry and glass break sensors.
