18s didn't have it yet. 19s have the roof standard but snorkel extra.

Almost doubling the cost of my SR5. Especially when you factor in the sales tax and property tax year after year.

And this is why dealerships add on "Market adjustments"... o_O

When you go in with Cash you are supposed to try to get a "better" price.... better for the buyer = lower like golf... a better score is lower...

In what country? Plus I would not buy a Ford. The TRD Pro Tacoma is the most loaded out you can buy. It's the Rubicon of trucks.

They wanted 52k. Truck base was 47k. Paid only two grand more than base out the door.

Never by from a corporate dealership.
Do your homework and buy from a locally owned dealer....and still do your homework.

A coworker bought a car from Auto Nation in Georgia. They called him 3 months later and...... I Quote, we need you to bring it back we couldn’t get you financing. WTF

So you basically paid 2019 MSRP +/- for a 2018 model sounds like.

If I had cash to drop, I am willing to bet there isn't a dealer on this continent (even Komifornia) that wouldn't take $47k OUT THE DOOR in green $100 bills for the truck I built below... It may take a bit of back and forth but I am confident I could walk out of the dealership keys in hand for the truck below for that if I had the cash...
*and it has every possible option on it... $3K+ just in options... there isn't a truck out there with every option this one has... First aid kit, Bed extender and divider, Bed step, Roof rack, Total protection package, TRD Intake and Oil cap... EVERYTHING....

I paid cash for my 4 wheeler and walked out way under their asking. Apples and oranges but same concept.

CASH talks BS walks... It works in every sales environment. I had an old boss who said "I NEVER pay full price for ANYTHING..." I challenged him to go buy a package of toilet paper and not pay full price... He walked in the grocery store across from our shop and came back with a receipt that showed he got a 15% discount... he wouldn't tell me how but said again "I told you, NEVER pay full price for ANYTHING..."

My dealer just sold a 2019 Voodoo blue for 44,500. You got rammed harder than a goat being molested by a drunken farmer.

Dude you were paying cash... Why the hell didn’t you negotiate more or travel somewhere to get a better deal.

Sorry to hear you got so screwed and had to run around like crazy afterwards. Hope you enjoy the truck though.

What should have been a GREAT day is probably turning into a terrible day. Paying cash for a brand new truck should give you a huge high. After the title issues and now getting abused for overpaying is gonna kill the buzz. Just trying to keep things positive in this one!

Agreed, I would be pissed at the title issues, let alone the overpaying. Not a good way to start a new truck ownership. Sorry OP no offense, I am just pissed for you that they got you so bad.
