I use a rottweiler that loves everyone. He'll keep you busy with belly rubs until I get home and shoot you.

I do have some space between the top of the bed cleat rail and the underside of the plastic bed rail cap. I tried pushing just the wire thru there and gave up after a few tries. I'll have to see if I can get a metal fish thru there instead. Wire felt like it was hitting something about a foot in.

Couldn't one go thru the bedliner, inside the bedside and down to frame rail, along frame up under the driver's side and thru the grommet into the cab? That's what I did with my Pop 'n Lock wire to tie into lock/unlock wire going to rear door.

I just rembered I ran it under the bed rail cap and down between the cab and bed. It pretty safe there. But my mount is on my rack above the bed rail. I also got a cable that has a screw of connector so you only need a 1/4?" Hole to bring it in the cab.

I'll need to look more into it. It was just a "hey lemme see if I can run this wire this way quick". My bed bars and the back rack mount to the bed clear rails and sit on top of the plastic rail caps. I might have to take all that off just to get this damn wire running down the rail. Unless I get under the truck as soon as possible, maybe down between the tailgate and bed side. Like I said, I didn't look much into it.

Changed my drivers side hub today. Passenger side was changed a month ago since it was ready to explode. Drivers side started making noise 2 days ago. I gotta take it all apart again though. I screwed up the one spring in the new CV dust seal on the back of the spindle.... again....

Sounds good. Getting into the cab is the easy part. It's getting to the cab that needs to be done. I started from the antenna and working my way to the radio

Hmmm. The end of my wire, opposite the ring, does not look like that. I acquired my wire second hand though. Maybe previous owner cut the end off. It looks more like a cable TV wire before crimping on the connector.

The wire in the white box was never used or cut. Can you take a pic of the ends?

I'm sure it's all easy. I spent all of 8 minutes looking at different spots. Was hungover, had to get the laundry, and had just changed the oil on GFs Xterra. Didn't feel like diving in more lol

Gotcha. Yeah I wasn't sure what normal out of the box looks like. I was just going by the picture in the link that @steele-taco posted.

I'm at work. If I remember, I'll snap a pic. It looks almost identical to this though
