    All about layout..
All the motors are beyond the transom.
Inboard requires space in the deck area plus access. Requiring rearranging fuel tanks.
    Changes in support ribs.
Plus it looks a lot cooler than a inboard.

The new rage is outboards with the controls of inboards, joystick/navigation. If a engine goes down, you pull it off and put another on. Inboards are a major undertaking, most rebuilt in place. If the block on a inboard has to come out sometimes it involves a partial deck removal, a lot of down time, a lot of money.

I have 2 Benelli's an Ultralight and an early Heckler & Koch Imported Benelli Model M1 Super 90. Wouldn't mind a 3rd, just saying...

Oldest son moved to Boston less than 2 weeks ago. 1,336 miles don't even have to look it up. Well 2 weeks ago I did. Been there more than once my youngest sister used to live in Boston. I have no desire to go back. Maybe someday now it might happen. Or not. Nephew in Buffalo goes there quite a bit and said it is only a 45 minute plane flight for him if I need him to go for some reason. I always did like that kid.

It Is funny you say that I just took the dog out and was thinking well maybe it is for ease of maintenance like aircraft engines on a C5 we could drop a motor and rehang and trim in 8 hours . Other birds with internal engines like the F4 the fastest I personally know cause I helped was 12 hours out and back in . The boat control by wire is interesting what fail safes are there ? I mean whipping along at 70 mph on the water the motors do an uncommanded hard left could make life very interesting .. Same as it does in an aircraft with almost the same result lol

I used to have to drive to the Pentagon Annex from the Tidewater Va. area once in awhile, at all times of the year. In uniform. But was nothing compared to walking across the grinder in Florida to the chow hall at 0600. The starch in my uniform would literally be running out of it with the sweat. And then you start your day. OK maybe the cold here isn't quite so bad.

Howdy all. Still in remodel mode between work and kid stuff. I wanted to check to see if any one has an antique wall phone they are willing to let go. Looking for something pre-dial.
