Does a Tail Gate Lock Count?
Good Times at Bass Pro Shop today! Traffic was not that bad even. They had not restocked yet after Christmas and there were many half filled shelves. Fortunately they had the smoking wood I needed:

They said the truck just came in and I had to go to receiving to get these bags.

For those of you looking at pellet smokers (uhplifted), they had a nice selection of pellets:

I don't know much about the actual pellet cookers but they seemed to have a variety of units.....

Ammo stock was low, but boats and fishing were fully stocked. So was the fudge shop (Yum)!!

Ya projects that go south blow. Had to replace a water going to the fridge the other day. 3 trips later to Lowe’s for supplies I got it fixed. Stupid manufacturer of the fridge used some off sized line and I ended up having to make an adapter.

Then the stupid kitchen faucet apparently has been leaking at the joint where the spout attaches to the base so I picked up a new delta faucet and swapped that out also.

I mostly fixed it. Needed extra washers between bed rail and mount. It’s a super tight fit but I think it’ll work

 A couple things.... you don't need the antenna to do the burn in. Just do it! If you must have wifi, hold your phone within a few feet or the controller and search for wifi. find GMGxxxx and connect, the password is the grill serial #. Have the app already installed on you phone, because the GMG wifi is not connected to the internet.
And cook burgers first! Get some greasy seasoning going.

With your luck, wear a fire suit. :D

Skip the can, spatchcock for the win. Everything about the “drunk chicken” is a total myth.

But it just seems a lot more fun to stick the bird on the can. Plus I want to experiment with different beers

Sure do. Most of a 20# bag of lumberjack competition blend. Will be picking up another bag when getting the grill if they have them in stock

You can waste all the different types/styles you want. It simply doesn’t add any flavor or moisture. Don’t believe me, weigh your can of beer before and after your smoke and you’ll see barely a difference. In fact it makes for a way more solid mass so your legs/thighs/ wings will be over done before the thick mass breast (with beer filled can) can ever get to temp. Just saying, there are tons of opinions on the matter.

Lumberjack comp blend is my favorite, so far. A local friend charges $20 for a 40# bag.
    Does your grill come assembled?

Guess I’ll just have to find out for myself ;)
    Well that’s a damn steal. I think I paid 16 for a 20#
Not sure if it comes assembled. I hope so because I don’t want to assemble yet another grill haha

I had no idea there was such a variety of pellet smokers or blends of pellets. Learn something new every day.
