    Lol.

    No more projects! (For now)

That axle is completely bolt in. Except for the axle tubes being 3.5” diameter, the Driveshaft is most likely too long, and will have a 1350 yoke.

So yes, the shock mounts will be pre-welded. The axles, bearings, and disc brake kit will be installed. There are even supposed to be brake line tabs.

$4080 plus shipping. Not sure what shipping is yet.

    The base price is $2080.

The 35 spline chromoly axles and all new bearings and seals are a $1000 upgrade.

The OX locker is another $1000

The rear disc swap is not part of the $4080. The axle is designed to use your factory axles, backing plates, drums, brakes, and wheel speed sensors.

I had SOS Concepts ship the disc swap kit to ECGS upon their request. Stephen at ECGS wanted to be 100% sure they would fit properly.

The Currie 9” would’ve been a little over 6k and would have required axle bearings to be pressed, Shock mounts welded on, painting, doesn’t have brake line tabs, and doesn’t have chromoly axles.

ECGS also gave me a $1000 credit towards the new axle for returning my broken rear Diff to them. So $3080 plus shipping for me.

Better pricing than the dynatrac option...

Looking forward to seeing this progress.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Amazing build and great documentation. I feel so guilty not contributing to this forum only taking ideas and learning lessons. Perhaps when I retire here pretty soon. Thanks for the links and all your help.

It’s better pricing, and more bolt in, than anything else I could find. I also spoke with Diamond.

Bolt in wasn’t 100% necessary, but I have enough projects going on. Especially, when the 60 is also thousands less than the other options.

I cleaned up and painted my Dakars and @ARCHIVE shackle flip today.

I changed the rear Dakar bushings in October just before heading to Moab. I figured the front rubber bushings were shot as well, but I was out of time and didn’t have time to deal with pressing them out.

I was right. They were toast. I pressed out the old rubber bushings yesterday and put new poly bushings up front too.

I thought the shackle flip bushings were good, but discovered one was torn today. I texted Eric of Archive, and he’s shipping me replacement bushings tomorrow.

I used @Chux ‘s idea and slathered the back side of the shackle flip brackets in anti-seize, to hopefully keep rust at bay.
