But for real, the one I'm mounting in my truck will be bolted down to 4 of the bed bolts and I've got an actual spare tire strap you'd see on a Baja truck I'll be using. So it should look good once all said and done.

 

I like the two bed bolt support because I can still put flat stuff over the back area of the bed without a bar in the way. Only thing I'd change is probably the two tubes around the sides of the tire.

 

True. Well for mine, there won't be another cross bar that spans perpendicular to the truck except for the first set of bolts in the front. So I shouldn't have any problems with flat stuff.

 

But you will have one running front to back right? That prevents anything flat in the bed up against the bed cubbies.

 

I’ll basically have a u shape in the bed mounting to the front 4 bed bolts.

 

Oh gotcha I was picture the two bed bolts all the way by the tailgate lol I forgot there are middle ones still be the wheel wells. That'll work fine then. No mounting to the bedrail?

 

Trying to isolate my mounts to the frame bolts. Keep the body and frame as independent as possible. Basically trying to do everything but mount the rear shocks to this. Lol.

 

Had to Order front brakes today. Gunna do a slight upgrade for better braking. Got the Hawk SD towing pads and standard rotors. Should be a good upgrade and it was under 200

Really depends on the day. I’d say 80% of their stuff is good enough for the average joe. I’ve seen a few barrels that were junk, overall fit and finish isn’t the best, and all of the triggers needed some work.

 

I know we talked batteries a while back. What was the final consensus on what to get? 16, winch, lights, and ham radio. Within a year or 2 I’d like have a dual battery setup.
