How often do you guys with manuals change out your gear oil in them?

Never seen one up close and personal. Had my 10mm just in case but I'd really rather not face a angry grizzly with a handgun.

The Blue 92 still has factory fresh in it as far as I know. 196k and 27 years.

 

Saw some video of a dude in Canada that shot a grizzly point blank with a 12gauge and then hauled ass back into his house...it fell over after the blast and immediately got up, shook it off and charged after him. Yeah I don't know well a handgun will do lol

Doesn't it use the same oil as the engine like a motorcycle? I get mine changed every 5000 miles

jesus lol. I've done mine twice in the ~50k miles I've had it. The Toyota recommendation is every 30k iirc

Are you serious or joking? If serious, no it doesnt. It has it's own fluid and 30k is the interval

 

If it mostly just sees street driving I doubt it's a big deal but yeah I'd make that a priority lol.

 

100k unless I do some deep water crossing. I change it just to be safe and make sure no water. My dad's truck never had the diff fluid, transmission, transfer case change it's factory oil. Must have 240k plus

I wasn't going to say anything at first lol but figured maybe you honestly didn't know. Some people don't esp if they don't do their own maintenance.
