But on the bright side you have another tool, that's always a win in my book.

I was just being a smartass haha. I do all my own maintenance besides changing my oil sometimes just cause I hate making a special trip to dispose of the oil (the river is hard to get to from my house and it's a long walk to the beach).

I couldn't get mine off for the life of me. Ended up just doing the outers. I need to buy a big pipe wrench.

I hope that's another joke lol

I dump mine down my least favorite coworker's gas tank

Actually it would be funny to dump it under his car and watch him spend money at a mechanic each time trying to figure out where his car is leaking. I don't like the dude.

You can cheat and tighten your rack guide to make it heavier. Also a 27 is good for lots of things. Including wheel bearings and crank pulleys on a 300zx.

Haha that would be hilarious, dump like half a cup a day every time he parks at the office. Yeah I don't dump my oil in the river, I burn it like a responsibly green human being.

You ever do the tack weld on the steering column to fix the play in it? That and a new steering rack guide did wonders for me.

This guy actually had to get his Scions engine replaced because he thought the oil lantern light was an oil change recommendation light. No joke.

He annoys me for other reasons but I find some solace in that event

Good time to own an old Diesel Mercedes. Shove the waste oil in the tank and go on with your day haha

Synthetic doesn't burn sadly but I recycle it. We got a old propane tank full of used fossil oil and another for synthetic.

    This.

I actually picked the coupling nut up from home depot just ended up not needing it (yet). After I replaced rack bushings, inners and outers, coilovers, etc - truck tracks fine and feels like it did when I drove it off the lot.

That's bad, I had a gal I worked with in highschool that did that. It was just a little Honda car but still. Some people are hopeless when it comes to vehicles. I've always really enjoyed working on my own trucks to make them "mine".

Now that I have a deeezhul I'm thinking about filtering my waste motor oil and running it. The injectors have a 4 micron filter or something though so I'd have to be really careful
