Really? Mine are beat to hell with a few cracks but seem to be structurally sound, like not gonna completely fall apart. But that being said, I am tearing the truck down for a cab/ engine cage and core support delete late spring once there isn’t a need for the truck with snow.

I’m considering the quick change setup for this m90 to lower my boost. Realized my 6.26” crank pulley and 2.2 blower pulley will probably send me up and above 10 psi. Tundra 4.7 crank was 5.5”.

Yeah mine will survive daily driving, but other than that if I wheel it, it will no longer serve me usage as a daily driver at that point, because I wheel it incredibly hard when I did.

60+ mph. Hahaha. Bring it on baby!

 

Anything smaller than 2.5 with a crank pulley above 6.5" will not you higher than 10 psi without a doubt.

 

Just add some meth to your water jet

 

With my methanol in the off position currently I believe my afe inake is keeping me richer than before. Ovtune at wot keeps me in the high 9's. Maybe a 2.3 pulley is ok??

Are you concerned about longevity of the motor?

 

It’s an engine. Motors run on electricity.

But yes, it does appear that in some circles a motor is specific to electrically powered versus having a means of converting power via burning of a fuel.

There was a guy that’s gone upto 12 psi before and something let go. I’m a bit better equipped than he is though. My preference is to start at 8.5-9ish psi. Also I’ve been informed the supercharger pulley is actually 2”.

 

There's a Canadian on here with a 2" pulley. Memory says he hit 19 psi. I may be wrong on that. @Athlaos, is it still a 2" or smaller now?

 

UZ engines can’t handle that. Would maybe last 2 dyno runs lol

Shhh. I just went to 1.87". I was going to do a big reveal on the supercharger thread... but not quite 19psi, I got up to 16psi when it was cold with the 2.0".

That’s the attitude I like. Over in the Lexus LS forum they’ll call me stupid and haze me until I admit the Lexus engineers are the greatest and I should bend over.

Been almost a year since I started on this damn thing. But at least it starts now. Hammering the firewall back was...interesting.

 

I bet that is a very fun car to drive. I really want to get a boosted car, but I know realistically for that to happen I would have to sell atleast one of my trucks and I don’t know that I am ready to do that yet.
