I want that size - want to keep mud flaps - so I have 16x8 0 offset, and we set my alignment to move my wheel all the way forward in wheelwell, then used SPC control arm to add 3.5 degree caster. This is test fit with 255/85/16 had about 1 1/2” of clearance in back of wheel well with wheel turned.

 

Same here, 16x8 0 offset (method NVs). My caster alignment was pretty far forward from factory, so I only had very slight rubbing on the mud flaps when the wheel was turned to a specific spot. I just trimmed off the spot where it rubbed. It was in the middle of the flaps, the part that covers the inner edge of the wheel well, so I've still got all 4 screws holding them on. I'm not even close to the cab mount. I'm running 2 inch Eibach, basically the toytec lift but I just bought springs and shocks as components and reused the factory top plate. Stock UCA.

 

Is that a permit in your window? Going this summer and trying to figure out what I need

 

Wait to see what he says but the few times I went we didn't need a permit or anything. The pavement ends, it turns into sand, you engage 4x4 and party on. There wasn't a cop or gate or anything like that. This was a few years ago but I doubt it's changed.

 

Good eye. That's the Home Depot (on Harbor Blvd.). The tires are 265/70 R17. No rubbing so far. Definitely taking a fuel economy hit and it's a little louder, but I like them.

Today I rolled over to another MGM, this time a Gen 3 2018 TRD Sport. Time for more crew hauling (another Grand on the way), and I've been pulling the dual sports to the mountains regularly and wanted the V6 and Trans cooler.



Well, I guess I also wanted a new truck too
