It's actually a request from the Mrs. . She wants something that we can leave at a remote site whole we do day excursions in the bush.

 

well that's awesome. That's a honey do list item I wouldn't have minded. haha. I was talking with a buddy and mentioned how I would like to do a offroad trailer setup for a RTT and such. that way I don't have to take it down and leave a partial camp anytime I wanted to drive around the area. I understand RTT is fast and easy but something bout leaving a campsite with no tent just sounds weird to me.

 

Yeah .I don't mind the tent bit . I've done that tons and I'm normally packed to go way before everyone else is.

But some of the trips for fishing we do might only be 15 minutes down the road. Which is only an issue if we come back and she wants to take a mid day siesta and I've got to set it up again haha

 

I love my mid day naps. or PLANT (post lunch afternoon nap time). haha. I'm gonna need one later that's for sure. slept for about 3 hours before I came onto watch. off in 2.5 hrs but then I have to be up 3 hours after that for training all day. I just hope its not death by powerpoint or I'm going to be hurting.

Just browsing the ole web for dual sport stuff

 

Been programming in some new stuff in the radio. Added Tac311 and Tac312. That Colorado repeater was the right group but it's not linked to their analog repeater that the net was on. Was working on some issues tonight locally also with what seems to of been a shitty internet connection on the main net repeater. Took me a bit to get used to the software again since I haven't made a codeplug in a few months. lol

I did talk to a guy in England on Tac311 earlier.

 

I hate making codeplugs and that's just basic ones for our work radios. Had to learn how to do them back in training which is funny since we rarely ever do it. I have only had to make minor changes to them and that's more for radio settings and such not the ch and zones.
