Thanks, though I dont know who Adam is... and since I dont have a place to anchor it currently, not an issue. That, and I am looking to do 4 bends on 1.5 or 1.75.

I am on the fence of either buying something, and modding it as needed, or just building what I want...

Either way, need to pick up my machine and gear from my dads house, and make a 240v60a extension cord, blah blah

So what made you decide on the axleless suspension? Especially if you had to add a beam? Just curious.

 

Why not just consolidate all of the TW Express stuff into hm.. maybe a PM so that it's not spread across two different posts with BS related posts inbetween... haha

 

Just trying out something different. U don't have to add the beam, u can do brackets instead.
The beam sits alot higher than an axle does also.
I am not sure on weight differences though.

 

I forgot to mention the fact about having the trailer empty and it not bouncing all over the place while towing.
This is basically what sold me on it.

 

Adam is my buddy that is a local fabricator, he build roll cages and trucks

 

How does that system prevent that? Just because it doesn't have big, bouncy leafs?

 

Just looking at it, the beam looks like a good idea. The forces that system would apply to the frame rails otherwise looks like it'd be pretty substantial. That beam looks like it'd add a lot of stability to the trailer structure.

I would guess because Timbrens are progressive so they are softer when unloaded.

 

My brother has one in Saybrook CT; won’t leave his garage though. Bit of a haul from mass but throwin it out there.
